Toolora Terms of Service

Effective: 2026-05-25

We tried to make this read like a human wrote it. If you read one paragraph, read this one: Toolora is a set of free, browser-side tools, provided "as is" — we cannot make you whole for production losses if a tool misbehaves, and you may not point it at someone else as a weapon.

1. Acceptance

By opening any tool on toolora.info, you accept these terms. If you don't, close the tab — nothing gets charged or held against you, because there is nothing to charge or hold.

2. What Toolora is

Toolora is a set of utilities that run in your browser: formatters, converters, generators, calculators, comparators, cleaners, and so on. At the effective date above, there are roughly 66 tools online. The long-term plan is more, but there is no release schedule. Every tool is free, requires no signup, and has no usage cap.

3. Free · no Pro · no ads

There is no paid tier, no premium subscription, no "invite a friend to unlock," no ad slot, no affiliate links, no data resale. What you see is the full product. That isn't a launch promotion — it is the model.

4. Acceptable use

While using Toolora, you may not:

  • Process content for an unlawful purpose (anything that violates the law where you live, anything related to child exploitation, payloads intended to commit fraud or attack someone else's systems, etc.)
  • Pound the site like an API — tools are designed for a single human at a keyboard. Large-scale scripted scraping consumes resources other users need; we may rate-limit or block IP ranges that do this.
  • Attempt to bypass any security or rate-limit mechanism.
  • Interfere by any means with other users' access to the site.

If you do, we may terminate your access immediately, with no notice and no refund — there was nothing to refund.

5. No warranty

Toolora's tools are provided as is. We test each tool manually before shipping it, but we do not warrant that:

  • The output is correct in every edge case. In particular, cryptographic-style tools (hash, encryption, random generation) are fine for learning and debugging but are not intended for production key generation or security-critical use.
  • Tools are bug-free forever.
  • Any specific tool will continue to exist (see clause 9).
  • Converted files perfectly round-trip.

Back up critical data before you run it through any tool. We are not liable for data loss, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Toolora.

6. Your data is yours

What you type or upload is processed inside your browser; our servers never see it. You keep full ownership and copyright. Output files generated by the tools are yours, to use however you like (within the law).

7. Our code

The site code, the design, and the original copy are ours. You can read every tool's implementation in your browser's DevTools — what you see is the full thing — but please don't mirror the site and pass it off as Toolora. Reference, learn from, and borrow ideas freely; a credit is appreciated.

8. Feedback

Feedback you send through the in-site Feedback button or by email may be used to improve Toolora (for example, fixing the bug you reported or building the tool you suggested). If you don't want that, write "for your eyes only" in the message and we will treat it accordingly. We don't attribute feedback to you publicly without explicit permission.

9. Tool removal and service changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or remove any tool. Planned removals get at least 7 days of in-site notice. Emergency removals (a security flaw, say) may take effect immediately. The site as a whole going dark is unlikely but theoretically possible; if it ever happens, we'll do our best to keep a notice on the domain for as long as we hold it and package the code in a readable form.

10. Liability cap

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the total liability of Toolora, its author (Lei Li), and anyone else involved, for any claim arising out of your use of the site, is capped at the amount you paid us — which is zero. This isn't us being clever; it's spelling out the "free, as-is, at your own risk" arrangement in plain words.

11. Changes and governing law

If we change these terms, we put a banner on toolora.info's home page and at the top of this page for at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and we bump the effective date above. Continuing to use the site means you accept the new version. These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China; disputes are resolved first by good-faith negotiation, and failing that, by the people's court with jurisdiction over the author's place of residence.
