What this tool does
Free online pomodoro timer with three rhythms — the classic 25-minute focus / 5-minute break from Francesco Cirillo's 1987 technique, the 50/10 ratio Cal Newport recommends for deep-work paragraphs, and a 90/15 ultradian variant that maps to one full Kleitman BRAC cycle for long-form writing and research. After every fourth focus block the break extends to a long break, just like the original tomato. A clean SVG progress ring shows the minute hand draining and a giant mm:ss readout stays glanceable from across the room. The browser tab title ticks down in real time so a pinned tab is its own status bar — switch apps, glance at the tab, see "08:47 · Focus" and decide whether to keep your text-message reply for later. A short Web Audio "ding" (no audio asset, no third-party CDN) plays at every transition, and browser notifications fire if you grant permission. Daily and weekly stats live in your browser only: how many pomodoros you finished today, how many minutes you spent focused, your current streak, and a 7-day bar chart so you can see whether Tuesday afternoons are a desert. Nothing leaves your laptop. No account, no signup, no tracker on the timer itself. Just open the page, pick a rhythm, hit start.
